I entered the Breakthrough Junior Challenge, an annual global competition for students to inspire them to think creatively about science. Students between the ages of 13 and 18 from around the world are encouraged to create and submit original videos (maximum 3:00 minutes) that bring a concept or theory to life in science, physics or mathematics. The materials presented are assessed on the student's ability to convey complex scientific ideas in a fun, illuminating, creative manner and highlight the possibility of solving global issues. The competition is organized by the Breakthrough Prize Foundation.
The Breakthrough Prize honors important achievements in fundamental physics, natural sciences and mathematics. The Breakthrough Awards are sponsored by Sergey Brin, Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg, Pony Ma, Yuri and Julia Milner, and Anne Wojcicki. The Breakthrough Award recognizes the best scientific work and inspires the next generation of scientists.
I participated in the international project "TeDDi - Tribune for Children" - a place for expressing the views of children and adolescents, at the initiative of the editorial staff of the weekly "Arguments and Facts in Belarus" with the participation of the Republican Public Association "Belarusian Association of UNESCO Clubs" and the Representative Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF ) in Belarus.
